My Credentials

After 15 years of planning foreign travel for myself and my friends, I decided to make my passion my career in 2001. My first trip to Italy was in 1987--my grand tour of Europe after graduating from Rice University. In Italy, I did the standard Rome-Florence-Venice tour by train, but longed to see much more. This was the beginning of a love affair with both Italy and international travel. I spent a semester at the Chinese University of Hong Kong while earning my MBA at the University of Chicago. I've traveled in 44 countries on six continents. I enjoyed every one, but only a few rival Italy when it comes to natural beauty, history, art, architecture, food and wine. I spent almost four months in Italy in 2001, improving my language skills and developing programs for future trips.  I spent three months in Italy in 2007.
