Wednesday Pompeii
There are few archaeological sites that
rival Pompeii's importance. Buried by an eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in
79 AD, the rediscovery of the city of Pompeii has given tremendous insight
to the daily life of the Roman period. Spend the morning
exploring the art and architecture of this wonder with a highly
experienced guide. Eat lunch, then drive up the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius for a spectacular view of Naples and
its Gulf.
Wine Tasting
Dine at one of Positano's
best restaurants on dishes specially selected to accompany some of the regions
finest wines.

Naples' famous pizzerias. Spend more time in the city or go to Sorrento, another
jewel on the coastline, or Herculaneum, a Roman town buried in the same
eruption as Pompeii. Have dinner at a restaurant
